This DIAN China Link Virtual Roundtable is for DIAN Connect/Premium members only. It aims to bring together China-based company representatives to connect and share key diversity & inclusion (D&I) trends, developments and activities relevant to the China market in order to drive an informed approach to their local D&I strategy.
Join us for the last roundtable of the year where we invite Ivy Wong to update us on the current state of LGBT+ Inclusion in China, where challenges and opportunities are, and practical ways forward. The session will be run in English with supplemental Mandarin facilitation.

Ivy Wong
Born and bred in Hong Kong, Ivy is a strong LGBT+ ally. Since 2015, she has been working with numerous multinational companies in developing their LGBT+ initiatives in Hong Kong, Greater China and APAC. She led the Asia pioneering Hong Kong LGBT+ Workplace Inclusion Index, which is a benchmarking tool to measure companies’ LGBT+ inclusion effort at the workplace. She has also led an award-winning disability job fair in Hong Kong. Relocated to Shanghai in 2017, she has become part of the driving force for LGBT+ workplace inclusion in China. She leads the annual Diversity and Inclusion workplace forum and job fair in Shanghai. She is the winner of Future Award Leader of American Chamber of Commerce Shanghai 2021 and featured as one of the 300 Future Leaders in Tatler's Gent T Asia List 2021. Ivy holds MSc Organisational Psychology and Psychiatry at King’s College London and BSc Social Sciences at University of Hong Kong.
