Diversity & Inclusion 101: An Introduction to DE&I

This session acts as an introduction to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with particular focus on how it manifests in Asia to help participants understand what can be done to foster more inclusive workplaces. The session will touch on how to create a culture of inclusion, appreciate diversity and explore some nuances of intersectionality in Asia. 

Unconscious Bias

The session will help participants understand how Unconscious Bias (UB) acts as a barrier to inclusion, how it manifests in the workplace and different types of biases. The session will also explore tools to help manage one’s own Unconscious Bias in the workplace. 

Creating Allyship

The session aims to equip participants with the knowledge they need to be comfortable to be active allies in the workplace and build a more inclusive and diverse work culture. This training creates a safe space for individuals to better understand their roles that they can play to address common challenges when interacting with diverse communities in the workplace. 

Coaching Inclusive Culture

The session aims to help participants understand what coaching culture is and why it may be beneficial to their team, especially encouraging authenticity and allowing teams to bring their full selves to work. Participants will better understand the coaching culture model and the role diversity plays in building an inclusive culture. 

Race & Culture Conversations

The session will discuss race and culture terms, issues that are relevant in the region today and is backed up by Community Business’ recent research findings. It will also help participants understand how to navigate these conversations in the workplace by using relevant corporate case studies and build accountability through action planning.
