David Ko is the driving force behind RFI Asia, Ruder Finn's digital subsidiary, and a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). His leadership has seen RFI Asia celebrated for its diverse and engaging content across social media, video, and Augmented Reality. David's commitment to DEI shone brightly with his role in Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2023, where he led marketing and communications for one of the globe's biggest multi-sport and diversity-themed events, highlighting the importance of inclusion across all facets of society. RFI Asia, under David's guidance, serves an impressive clientele including L'Oreal, The Macallan, Hublot, Manulife, Prudential, and HSBC.
Prior to his current role, David managed WE Communications' Asia operations. His entrepreneurial journey began with Shout Communications, a PR firm he founded to elevate diverse voices in the industry. Shout's expansion and subsequent acquisition by WE in 2005 spoke volumes about David's commitment to progressive and inclusive communication strategies.
Throughout his career, David has consistently advocated for DEI, working tirelessly to ensure that every voice is heard and every story is shared. His innovative leadership in creating an inclusive digital space has established him as a vanguard of DEI in the digital communications field.
