Leveraging Diverse Styles with the GlobeSmart Profile gives participants access to a best-in-class style survey, the GlobeSmart Profile. After gaining familiarity with the tool and its profile, time will be spent on building specific strategies to maximize its use during a Diversity & Inclusion and/or Teambuilding dialogue.

Through the Workshop, you can

  • Develop a working understanding of the GlobeSmart Profile and the GlobeSmart Dimensions of Culture
  • Understand the key features and resources within the GlobeSmat tool

Speaker Profile

Jill Sheldekar is responsible for facilitating Aperian Global’s intercultural programs to help individuals develop the competencies and skills necessary to work effectively across cultures. She has worked with clients from various countries across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Jill has more than ten years of experience working in corporations in the US, Australia and India. Her intercultural training experience includes designing, developing and delivering programs for several multinational companies from a range of industries including IT, Home Appliance, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and Pharmaceutical. She has personally worked with many top level executives and senior global leadership teams to assist them in working more effectively across cultures.

Jill’s own training began in the form of leadership and social activism. She traveled across the globe as a youth mentor and facilitated many programs on leadership and volunteerism in India and Kenya. Jill also spent two years as a language instructor in Pune. As the head of the English department at Inlingua International School of Languages, she delivered Train-the-Trainer programs to certify internal trainers for the delivery of language and soft skills programs.

Jill is on the board of SIETAR India (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) and is responsible for organizing SIETAR learning events and conferences.

Jill earned a Bachelor of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education (Diversity Stream) and Religious Studies from Arizona State University in the United States. Her experiences studying abroad in Australia and India added meaningful experiences to her degree. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Jill currently resides in Pune, India where she enjoys all of the diverse experiences that come with being an expatriate.
