A Community Business Initiative

Tina joined Community Business in 2012 as a Project Officer. She provides support for the Diversity and Inclusion in Asia Network (DIAN) and helps drive the Diversity on Boards Programme. She is a co-author of Community Business' "Improving Governance through Board Diversity: A guide for companies listed in Hong Kong."

Prior to Community Business, she was a corporate governance advocate working with the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) in the Philippines. There she managed and updated the Professional Directors Programme, developed bespoke board governance tools for a major bank and helped organise the 2009 OECD Asian Roundtable.

Tina studied Political Economy - International Relations and Development at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Manila. She received the Student Voice Award from the university's student council for her activism and work on various official and student-led publications and the Dragon Award for Excellence in recognition of her academic and multi-sport achievements. She was also a recipient of the Gerry Roxas Leadership Award, a national accolade for student leaders in the Philippines.

Tina is a researcher by training but has had professional experience in marketing and programmes and training development. She also dabbles in multimedia arts.
